York High School is an Ontario High School (BSID #888280) inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education and authorized to grant Ontario high school credits leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) which is recognized and accepted for entrance into all Canadian, U.K. and international universities.


Student Enrollment Policy +

There is no set schedule for a student to follow or due dates to complete assignments. The student can start the course after 48 hours of registration and move through at his or her own pace. Students are encouraged to complete their courses in 2-6 months, but may apply for an extension of another 3 months, up to 2 extensions ( Additional fees will apply ). The course must be completed within 12 months of enrollment, otherwise he/she will be withdrawn from a registered course.

After full-time students enroll, the courses for each semester of the year will be arranged according to the school calendar .

Online credit course students can start classes 48 hours after registration. It is recommended that students complete the course within 2-6 months. If they fail to complete the course, it can be extended to 3 months. Applying for an extension again will incur additional fees. Each credit course must be completed within 12 months, otherwise the registered course will be cancelled.

Refund Policy +

York High School full-time students, once registered, the registration fee is non refundable, and tuition fees at each campus will be refunded according to the regulations of each school.

York High School online credit course students are non refundable. Once registered, our management department will take on many tasks, such as activating student accounts, completing registrations, signing contracts with teachers, establishing student profiles, tracking registrations for the purposes of the Ministry of Education, and so on. Even if students don't start the course, our school's work is almost completed.

1、What subjects do you offer?

 We offer All subjects from Grades 9-12 are offered, including ESL for internaional students. 


2、Do you accept students from China? 

York High School is an Ontario High School (BSID #888280) inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education and authorized to grant Ontario high school credits leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) . We accept students from world, and we have students from UK, US, Hongkong......


3、I am Grade 11 from China, How can I apply for  Grade 12?

We accept studens from Grade 9-11. If you are Grade 11 from China, first you need  contact us and fill in our application form with your transcript and your PASSPORT,  In addition,  we need a placement test to make sure your english level ,if you have IELTS、TOEFL score, you can submit to us. We will evaluate your transcript and you English leve to make sure  if we can give you offer. 

  

4、 How about graduate requirements?

If you started Grade 9 in 2023 or in prior years, you must earn:

18  compulsory credits

12 optional credits

the literacy requirement

at least 2 online learning credits

If you started Grade 9 in 2024 or in later years you must earn:


17 compulsory credits

13 optional credits

the literacy requirement

at least 2 online learning credits

Everyone needs 40 hours of community involvement activities (volunteering) to get their high school diploma.


5、Ontario Secondary School Diploma  can apply universities except Canada?

Canadian high schools implement a credit system, and graduates can complete the required credits. Our school's graduation certificate, which is reviewed by the Ontario Department of Education in Canada, is globally recognized and can be applied to various universities around the world.
